Why are you changing your name?
We need a name that better represents who we are and what we stand for.
What does Saela mean?
Saela is an old Norse word for happiness.
Why did we choose the word Saela?
It represents what we believe is most important and meaningful. Most people just want to be happy. We want our customers to be pest-free doing whatever makes them happy.
Why do I still see Edge around?
You will see the Edge brand gradually phase out as the new Saela brand phases in. This will take some time, so be patient as we navigate these changes over the coming months.
Are you selling my account to another company?
No. We are not selling your account.
Is there anything I (the customer) need to do?
There is nothing you need to do. Your service will go on uninterrupted.
What has changed about the service?
The service has not changed. Although, we do believe this name change will enhance the customer experience.
Will my contract be void after changing the name?
No. The contract will remain the same. It will continue under the new name.
Has there been a change in ownership or a merger?
No. The ownership and company remains the same.
Has the company vision changed?
No, we are not pivoting with our strategy. Our vision and long-term goals are the same.

When I founded Edge in 2008, I wanted to create an organization that helped others and added value in the day-to-day of each employee and customer. I just happened to do it through pest control.
I am grateful for the relationships we have developed with our customers through the years. As we have serviced your home or business, we truly hope your day has been better with us in it.
As I have thought about how we can better serve you, I made the difficult decision that we need to change our name. There are too many companies named Edge, and we need to differentiate ourselves with something that better represents who we are and what we stand for.
This decision is hard for me because I love our current name and brand. We put a lot of work and sweat into it. While our brand is healthy and reputable, our current name does not give us the runway necessary to provide you and our employees with the best experience possible.
This decision to rename to Saela is proactive and thoughtfully made. We have you, as the customer, at the top of our minds as we make this decision.
To be clear, we are not going anywhere. It is not the result of a sale, merger, or change of ownership. We are not making this move in response to anything other than our commitment to you. We are still us, simply better. We are doubling down on what we value the most.
Saela exists so you can live your best life pest-free. Saela exists to create opportunities for growth and success for our employees. Saela will continue focusing on this long-term approach as we evolve.
