Attic and crawl space clean‑outs
Attics
Rodents make tunnels, chew through wiring, urinate, and leave droppings all throughout your insulation, creating odor and cross-contamination problems.
Crawl Spaces
Rodents and insects are attracted to the moisture that can be present here. The majority of the air in your home comes from crawl spaces, so urine and droppings left here can create significant cross-contamination problems.

Did you know?
Rodents carry disease
A rat or mouse can leave 75 droppings a day which can be introduced into food or surfaces and spread to a human host by ingestion or inhalation. Rodent droppings can carry all sorts of disease – salmonella, leptospirosis, hantavirus, the plague, and more.
Rodents can be a fire hazard
Rodents. will chew on just about anything as they look to file down their rapidly growing teeth – including wiring in your home. Electrical damage cause by rodents is not only costly but can be incredibly dangerous. Fires can start quite quickly if the protective covering is gnawing from wires. Up to 20% of undetermined fires in the U.S. are believed to be triggered by rodent damage.
Rodents often gnaw, bend, or break items to make their path easier to traverse or find food. They can chew through wood, plastic, vinyl, rubber, low guage aluminum, and fiberglass-based screening. Rates cause about $19 billion of economic destruction per year.*
Rodents multiply quickly
Mice have litters of around 5-7 mice and can average about 42-60 offspring per year. Those young mice only need six weeks to mature to have young of their own. It doesn't take much time for a few mice to create an infestation. In an ideal environment, two mice can theoreticlaly multiply into several thousand in a year.
Rodents are gross!
Mice and rats typically urinate in micro-droplets constantly throughou the day, spreading odor and contamination wherever they go.
Rodents trigger allergies
Many people are susceptible to reodent allergies. Rodent dander can cause all sorts of allergic reactions or difficulty breathing, which creates an unpleasant living environment.
Rodents love attics and crawl spaces
Attics can be a paradise for rodents. Although the air temperature in an attic can be well above 120F, it can be perfectly comfortable for rodents beneath the insulation. Rodents prefer to burrow into insulation, creating cosy nests. These nests become full of droppings and urine, often leaving unpleasant odors.
Rodents can discolor surfaces
Rodents leave rub marks because of secreted sebum from their skin. These oils can deface and discolor surfaces and attract more rodents.
Rodents are the smartest pests we deal with
Experts consider rates and mice some of the most intelligent animal species. They adapt quickly and evade, making it extremely difficult to eliminate them.
