No More Feeling Like You Aren't In Control
Although mice are bigger than many other pests, they are extremely elusive and can initially be difficult to spot. Once you do see them, however, you’ll want to act quickly. Mice pose two large dangers to your home: damage and disease. And, since they breed quickly — one mouse can give birth 5-10 times a year — the risk of these dangers rises exponentially the longer mice are allowed to stick around.
House mice pose a real health hazard. They are known spreaders of diseases including hantavirus, salmonellosis and rat-bite fever. These diseases, and other sickness-inducing bacteria can be spread through mice feces, saliva and any food they come in contact with.
Mice are also a source of allergies. Mouse allergens are known to lead to the development of asthma and hay fever. These allergens are found in mice hairs, urine and danders — all of which can easily be spread throughout the home with a mice infestation. After all, mice don't stay in one place.
Although mice are not known for biting, they may do so if provoked and feel threatened. For this reason, it can be dangerous to try and remove mice yourself. For the best and safest route, call an exterminator for mice. Saela professionals are trained in the expert removal of mice and continued mouse control treatments. Don’t risk your family’s health by trying to handle an infestation yourself.
If there’s one thing mice like to do, it’s chew. They’re notorious for getting into your food, but all that chewing can also wreak havoc on your electrical system and walls.
Mice are biologically wired to chew because it helps maintain the length of their teeth. They’ll nibble and work through just about anything, and that includes all the things holding your home together. Drywalls, rubber, plastic pipes, insulation, aluminum, and even wires or gas lines are all at risk when a home suffers from a mouse infestation.
Since it’s inside your walls, much of this damage can go undetected until it’s too late. By then, you could be looking at some expensive repairs. To avoid such disaster and headache, consider investing in regular pest and rodent control services right from the start of your home ownership journey.
Mice don’t actively seek out homes to live in. Typically, they are more content to stay outside where there’s plenty of food and shelter for them. If they find their way into your residence, it’s likely because they see it as easy access to food and shelter. Mice won’t pass up a chance to pick up any large crumbs left around!
In climates with variable temperatures, mice are more likely to seek out the shelter found in your home during the colder months. Humans typically keeps their homes warm and cozy, which appeals to mice just as much as it does to us.
The most attractive spaces in your home for mice are not in the most obvious places. Attics, basements and crawl spaces are where you’ll most likely find the critters hiding away. Keep an eye out on these spots and have them regularly treated to deter mice and other pests.
The best way to keep mice out of your home is to start regular protection treatments right away. However, if you haven’t done this and manage to find a critter scurrying across the floor, it’s best to take up mice removal measures right away.

Raised price without any notification. Found out after service when saw receipt. Service was minimal / not as thorough as it has been since 2013. Will probably have to discontinue service due to $20 increase. Very disappointing.— christie Johnson
Agent did a thorough job. Hope your policy re: employees allows them adequate time to service each home?— Geraline Nulan
They were quick to address an issue of finding a black widow spider. Thank you Frank explained very well all he was doing.— Irene Hall
I had some spiders show up between services. They came out the next day and took care of everything. Highly recommended— Cory Large
The tech came on time and he texted us in advanced to let us know he would be at the place within 30-40 mins. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. He was very nice and thorough.— J&O Homes
I had a wasp problem, and a spider problem, The technician evan did a great job.— Charles Bush
So far Edge has been wonderful. They definitely work with my, not so flexible, schedule. The salesman wasn’t pushy and the techs are very accurate and precise. Customer service has also been very kind. Services exceed my expectations.— Samantha Marquez
Evan did a great job today! The time I talked to share locations for the inside glue traps with the representative on the phone who restarted my service, however, we’re not provided to him on the system, so I needed to use my break during my call/work meeting to show him where they are located— Rachel Leone Marx
We had Saela Pest Control come out to inspect and treat our home. Antonio did a very thorough job removing several wasp nests and thoroughly spraying the inside and outside of the home. We are very pleased with the service!— Leonard Jones
Very professional and courteous on site for the inspections and work performed. Very informative and addressed all areas we requested. Over the phone representatives very courteous and timely as well. We were recommended to Edge (now Saela) and will continue to do business with them. Update: will no longer work with them. What was initially good service ended poorly. Tried to lock us into a service agreement with fulfillment of service being very poor. The visits after our initial merited no results. Had wasps getting in the house and active all around the house, spiders still active as well (found a black widow and had to kill it myself). Ended up going to the store to buy the traps necessary to address the pests ourselves. One of their techs suggested that it would be better to buy from the store vs hire them. If you do work with them, would advise going month to month or no service at all. That way you don't have to deal with the service agreement.... not worth the few dollars you would end up saving.— Ryan E Sanders
Tyler took my concerns very seriously and took extra efforts in explaining and making me feel more comfortable.— Pat Williams
Saela responded same day with a yellow jacket problem that we were having. Their technician explained everything he would be doing. He showed me pictures of other nests he found around our home. He was efficient and effective. Highly recommend!— Melissa Urquidi
Everyone is so friendly and professional. They do a great job and explain in detail what they did and why— kenneth rustin
I am a repeat customer from Edge. Called to restart service & everyone was great, professional & on time. Was able to come same day!— Jen Snyder
Initially the product seemed to be working great, but it has rained every day since treatment and the ants have returned and seem to be totally unaffected by the product. We'll see how follow up treatment goes.— Wendy Mungai
From flying ants to sneaky mice, Saela pest control has been there for us year after year.— Nathan Reed
